This is a key guage #0290-0371 by Master Lock that is used to determine the depths of the cut in all Master Brand Padlock Keys. This also comes with a Laminated Conversion Card that lets you use the same guage for AMERICAN Padlock keys to determine the proper pin size for those locks. The same pins are used in both brands of locks, however, the pin numbers are different. Master Lock Company owns American.
