If you are looking for a low cost source of distortion free sinusoidal waveforms over the range of 5 Hz - 600 Khz in five bands this is the instrument for you.
The waveforms observed on all ranges using a Textronix Model 316 10 Mhz Scope were distorion free.
The attenuator smoothly increased and decreased the output with out generating any noise transients in the observed signal. I did not have the service manual to check it any further.
