This is a new solid brass, Best Lock padlock, Model 21B782-M5. It features an 18 inch galvanized, steel chain that is plastic coated to resist rust. This was a special factory order and is not one of Best's regular stock products. The extra length chain allows for more flexibility in securing the lock to a fixed object such as gate.
The brass case (satin chrome plated) is 1 25/32 inches wide and 2 inches tall and 13/16 inch thick. The hardened steel shackle is 5/16 inch in diameter has a 4 inch clearance and is multiple plated for corrosion resistance.
Included will be a 7 pin core, F keyway with one operating and one control key.
