The use of the BLUKOLD needle does not reduce the needle temperature which is caused by excessive sewing speeds.
Schmetz Blukold needles - these needles have a roughened, phosphorated surface with a Teflon coating. The needle remains clean for longer periods of time than with a standard chromium plated needle.
