Agilent hp 8642A synthesized signal generator

Hewlett Packard HP 8642A Synthesized Signal Generator for REPAIR or PARTS
This unit was recently calibrated by a company in Ventura, California and they have said that the A12 assembly is BAD.
The A12 assembly is a summing lead that multiplexes internal frequencies with the 10MHz reference to produce frequencies below 10MHz.
RF output will NOT go below 10MHz. RF output above 10MHz is stable, but does not meet MFR's specifications.
This unit REQUIRES REPAIR and is no longer supported by HP.
This unit sold new in 1995 for $31,400.00.
â–ª Frequency range: 100kHz to 1057.5MHz
â–ª Output level: +15 dBm to -140 dBm
â–ª High accuracy attenuator and output level
â–ª Non-harmonic spurious below -100 dBc (to 1GHz)
â–ª Low SSB phase noise of -134 dBc/Hz at 1GHz (20kHz offsets)
â–ª Provides AM, FM, Pulse and Phase modulation
