SOLATRON / ACUVOLT Isolation Transformer
Output: 120 VAC 1 PH (Adjustable)
This transformer was specified and installed on an industrial control project I did for Tappan Microwave Assembly several years ago. Shortly after the installtion the company installed some Modicon PLC's on the equipment. The Modicons would not work with an isolation transformer so they had me remove the transformers. They were installed as a primary and a back-up. Both were working fine when removed and have not been used since they were put into storage in 2001. They test out OK.
This transformer would be great for line voltage regulation, surge protection and isolation on a large computer/electronic control system, cable TV system or internet provider site. Could also be used in CNC machine shop to isolate machine controls from line voltage and motor controls.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be liquidating a lot of industrial and commercial parts and components that I accumulated over the years. Some were left over from projects and others were either replacement parts or stuff I saved for some future project that never materialized. So check back often.
