This is a VHF portable radio 5w power. it has 16 channels NEW battery NEW antenna. worked well had local frq programmed in when i was testing it. I do not programm. i sell this radio in as in condition i take no responsibility for mis use of radio this radio was just taken out of service and mostly deprogrammed but worked well this unti is as pictured in preview pic
the MT1000 is a heavy large radio positive is in your gear you will know it is there and it is easier to use with gloves on the sp50+ is a smaller radio bit harder to use with gloves on but easier as ems radio.
