Cast Red Brass / Bronze Mailbox Fronts, Mail boxes, postal doors, post office lock fronts with combination Lock and hinged frame. Old, Dirty, Tarnished
Vintage, Collectable almost Antique
Size #1 and measures about 5.5" x 6.25"
DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF DUST AND DIRT BUT SIMILAR TO THE PICTURE SHOWN
THESE POSTAL DOORS HAVE BEEN PAINTED GOLD COLOR AT ONE TIME AND THE PAINT IS SCRATCHED, DIRTY AND COMING OFF. BUT UNDERNEATH IS RED BRASS
THE WINDOW PANELS ARE PLEXIGLASS WITH SCRATCHES AND DIRTY RANDOMLY PICKED NUMBERS
THESE POSTAL DOORS COME COMPLETE WITH ALL WORKING PARTS BUT WILL REQUIRE A TUNE-UP
Combinations are not included but can be figured out by turning the dials and viewing the tumblers on the back side.
Description: Basically WYSIWYG... These postal doors come complete with all working parts. But they are old. The postal doors are in pretty good shape. As Taken out of Service. Will require cleaning and a tune-up and a shot of oil. . They are old dirty and tarnished AND HAVE BEEN PAINTED GOLD AT ONE TIME, these mailboxes are made from soft bronze metal and may have scratches dings or dents and might be bent (but not broken). Most Parts are made from brass but some screws are steel and will have rust
