This is The Yearbook of Agriculture 1956 Animal Diseases edition. Written by the US Department of Agriculture in 1956, 84th Congress, 2nd session, House document number 344. Foreword by Ezra Taft Benson, Secretary of Agriculture. This goes into many different livestock diseases and the medications being used in the 50's to treat them. It reviews several dozen diseases present in the country at the time, how they were affecting the livestock, treatment and future research on them. This book is in good shape. The hinges are tight and as far as I know there are no marks in this book. All the pages appear to be in place. It is 6 X 9 1/4 inches and has 591 pages including index.
