Battery not included. This meter uses a regular size D battery. These meters have been stored properly with no battery in them.
The CD V-715 is "a high range gamma survey meter for general post attack operational use" that employs a hermetically sealed ionization chamber. When the 715 came on the scene in 1962, it rendered the 710 and 720 void because it could scan the range of both. It was, by far, the meter of choice in the cold war era.
These meters are in excellent condition. They are in their original boxes.
