10,000 POUND CAPACITY CLAMP ON BUCKET FORKS
These forks are made completely out of heavy-duty steel, are fully DC- stick welded with 7018 rod, and weigh in at a massive 225 pounds each. The tubes, which the forks themselves consist of, are .375†wall, 4†x 6†tube. The usable length of each fork is 60" and the clamping portions stick into and under the bucket by 16â€. The vertical tube is .500†wall, 6†by 6†square. The top and bottom tube have a distance of 4" between them. Unlike the 2,000 capacity forks shown in the pictures above, another 4" x 6" tube is used where the top piece of channel is shown. The clamping disks are 5.000" wide and machined from .500†thick plate, welded around the threaded rod and under the bottom, with the bottom weld being ground to ensure a tight, flush fit. The capping plates on the top and bottom tube are 0.375†thick and welded on all sided. The handles are 14" long, made from 1†cold roll steel with a chamfer machined into each end to center the stop washers before welding. The handle bushings are machined and allow the handle to slide freely. The threaded rod and nut are a 1 1/2â€- 4 TPI Acme thread. This is a large, open thread that is very forgiving when contaminants get on it. Unlike the 2,000 forks shown above, 2 nuts are used on each of our 10,000 sets. These forks will come painted gloss black with the yellow SLF insignia on them.
