The BADER Centerless is used for grinding and polishing the O.D. of pipe and round
stock. Both coarse grit grinding with use of a rubber contact wheel/coarse grit
abrasive belt and fine finish grinding with use of a softer cloth contact wheel/fine grit
abrasive belt can be performed. The Linear Bearing BADER Centerless adds to the
functionality of the standard centerless by floating the regulating wheel head on a
linear bearing and applying precise pressure with an air cylinder/regulator
combination. This allows slightly out of round parts and parts with tapers to be
centerless ground or polished. A foot pedal allows the operator to control the motion
of the head; freeing their hand to load or unload parts.
