This 5500 watt (5.0 kW), portable, silent diesel generator is suitable both as a stand-alone backup generator and for use at project/industrial sites, this highly versatile and rugged system has been designed to meet the quality and safety demands of both residential and professional applications.

Installed Cold Start Pre-heater
All Ramsond Elite generators are equipped with a pre-heater element. This feature ensures that diesel fuel mixture vaporizes easier in the combustion chamber making starting easier for cold or during cold starts.
Installed Wireless Remote Starter
All Ramsond Elite series generators come equipped with Electrical Start (key operated), as well as installed with wireless remote controlled starter. The wireless remote starter allows the operator to turn the Elite generator on and off from distances of up to 150 feet.
Exceptional Safety & Quality Standards
EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) certified for emission, CE certified in Europe, and most notably, one of the very few unit in the US market with UL approved control panel and electrical components.
ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) OPTIONAL
All Ramsond Elite series are ATS READY and equipped with a 5 prong quick-connect ATS receptacle. When connected to the Elite generator, the ATS can continuously monitor the municipal electrical current. At the instance of loss of power, the microprocessor controlled ATS system sends a command to the generator's ignition system to start. The ATS will keep the generator running until such time that the municipal power is resumed, at which time it will send a command to the generator to shut off. The optional ATS is easy to connect and affordable. ATS is a highly recommended option, specially when your Elite series is intended for use as a back-up generator.
